Locking/ Unlocking Shifts

Locking/ Unlocking Shifts

The ability to lock shifts on the Scheduling Dashboard can help avoid visits from being adjusted while billing and payroll is being processed.

To Lock Shifts:

  1. Navigate to the scheduling dashboard Menu > Scheduling > Scheduling Dashboard. Click the Utility Drawer icon.

  1. From the drop down menu, select Lock Shifts

  1. Select the desired date to end lock shifts. (Typically the last day of your last billing period) then click, Save.

  1. All shifts on and previous to that date are now locked.

  1. If a padlock symbol is visible on shifts on the scheduling dashboard, this indicates these shifts are locked. This feature prevents your staff with access to the dashboard from editing the shifts.

Unlocking Shifts

  1. To unlock shifts, follow the same steps as above. However, when unlocking shifts, you need to move your desired date to the day before the first shift you would like to have unlocked.
