The accounting section of your caregiver profile allows you to record staff wages, bonuses, salaries, and other data needed for payroll and accounting.
Navigate to the staff profile by clicking Menu > Staff > Staff Management.
Select the staff member’s photo whose profile you wish to view.
To access the accounting subcategories, scroll down and click the Accounting heading. These subcategories are detailed below.
Tip: To manage entries in the subcategories below, click the blue pen and paper icon to create a new entry, the yellow pencil icon to edit an existing entry, or the red trash can icon to delete an entry.
The caregiver wages section allows you to enter the current wage for each wage rate label you have entered in your site.
For caregivers who are paid using salary payments, you can enter the amount per payment and each date of payment they should receive their salary under the salary payments section.
If your caregiver requests a payroll advance, you can track the repayment status, term, and installments under payroll advances.
If your caregiver has earned a discretionary bonus, you may enter it under discretionary bonuses.
Any deductions from a caregiver’s payroll may be scheduled under payroll deductions.
If a caregiver is paid less or more than they should be, you can correct it under payroll corrections.
Two types of entries:
Addition -> Deduction - If the change made to the original period resulted in the employee being owed less in that period.
Deduction -> Addition - If the change made to the original period resulted in the employee being owed more in that period.
Do Not Correct Original Date checkbox:
If this is checked, the correction will only be applied to the period of the Date Applied. The payroll in the period of the Original Date will remain unchanged.
Under Payroll Data, you can log employee information including the state the staff is employed in, whether they are a 1099 or W2 hire, their full-time, part-time, or temporary/seasonal status, their pay frequency, marital status, federal and state exemptions and withholding, department, and job code, if applicable.
