Staff Profile: Fields Required for Booking


In Aaniie Kids, there are certain admin only flags and fields that must be enabled and completed before a Caregiver will be available for booking by families/clients in the app. 

Priority Info Section


  1. Navigate to the Staff Management section (Menu > Staff > Staff Management).

  2. Select the Caregiver’s profile you would like to onboard for mobile app booking 

  3. Expand the Priority Info Section. There are several fields that must be enabled located here: 

    1. Sector: A caregiver must be assigned to a sector in order to appear in the mobile app. They can be assigned multiple or all sectors in your site. Caregivers will only appear in the list of available caregivers in the app if the client’s zip code is in the sector(s) assigned to the caregiver. 

  1. Background Check: Select the Edit Pencil next to the field. This field must be marked as “Clear” and select the completion date. 

 

Note: If a caregiver’s background check does not return as clear, you may choose to indicate in their profile by selecting the Not Clear/Incomplete Status and add Notes of findings or why it was not completed. Aaniie Kids will notify Admin when the caregiver’s Background Check is nearing expiration (Three years from completion date). 

  1. Training: Select the Edit Pencil next to this field and select “Confirm”. This field will then change to “Complete”. 

Note: Training is agency specific and may indicate that onboarding documents are signed, orientation videos/manuals have been reviewed and signed, New Caregiver Handbooks have been reviewed, or any combination of onboarding requirements. 

  1. Pre-Orientation: Select the Edit Pencil next to this field and select “Save”.   The field will then change to “No”. 

Note: If this field is marked as “Yes” the caregiver will not receive any system notifications from the Message Center or Quick Contact. 



Staff Profiles Section

  1. Navigate to the Staff Profiles section of the caregivers profile and expand. 

  2. Scroll to Childcare Experience and select the Edit Pencil

  3. Select the appropriate child age(s) a Caregiver is certified or would like to care for and press Save. When a family/client is choosing a caregiver, only those that have the correlating age(s) to the child(ren) being booked will appear in the list of available caregivers in the app.
