You can log biographical information like childcare experience, skills, or allergies of your caregiving staff in the Staff Profiles section of the staff profile.
Navigate to the staff profile by clicking Menu > Staff > Staff Management.
Select the staff member’s photo whose profile you wish to view.
Scroll down, then click the Staff Profiles heading to expand it and view the subcategories within, described below.
Tip: In the subcategories below, you may create a new entry by clicking the blue pen and paper icon, edit an entry by clicking the yellow pencil icon, or delete an entry by clicking the red trash can icon.
The staff bio is a brief paragraph which describes the staff member to potential clients.
In agreed upon availability, the staff member can provide the number of hours they are available to work, as well as the number of hours they wish to work every week or every day.
In the communication styles area, you can assess the communication style of your caregiver(s), compare their style against others, and chart their results along 4 quadrants: Drivers, Analytics, Social Influencers, and Harmonizers.
The standard certifications section allows you to record the certification status of your caregivers, as well as the date these expire, for CPR, First Aid, and Swimming certifications.
In the certifications category, any custom certifications you have added to your agency site may be tracked for your staff members.
New Custom Certifications may be added by going to Menu > Staff > Custom Certifications.
If your caregiver has an allergy which may prevent them from working with a client where they may be exposed to dogs, cats, or smoke, you can note that under compatibility allergies.
Any additional allergies a caregiver may have, such as shellfish or pollen allergies, may be entered in the allergies subcategory.
References attesting to your staff member’s character, along with their contact information, relationship, and history, may be documented under character references.
You can indicate your caregiver’s specific skillset in the skills subcategory.
Your staff’s hobbies and interests can be logged in this section.
Education caregivers have completed may be documented in the education section.
Your staff member’s employment and volunteering experience is held in the experience area.
The caregiver’s childcare experience may be recorded in the childcare experience section.
Note: If a caregiver lacks childcare experience for a specific age range, they will not be eligible to work shifts where experience supporting that age is necessary.
The travel preferences subcategory stores whether the staff member has a driver’s license, a registered and insured vehicle, and access to public transportation, as well as the make and model of vehicle or transportation, and if this staff member should be considered for jobs where an automobile is required.
