Highlighting important Site Settings affecting the Message Center

Site Settings - Message Center

  1. Navigate to the Site Settings (Menu>Settings>Site Settings) and scroll down to the Message Center section

  • Disable Message Center:

Disables the message center feature (and hides the message center in app). Caregivers and clients will not be able to read or respond to admin messages sent via the message center.

  • Allow all staff to create and send messages to managers from the app:

If enabled, it allows caregivers to create and send messages to Managers. Note: “Managers” include ALL roles except for “Caregivers”

  • Also allow all staff to send messages to their peers

If enabled, it allows caregivers to create and send messages to all staff registered in the system.

  • Approve all comments automatically

If a message is not marked as “Private Thread” this will allow staff to comment within a thread. If enabled, all comments in the thread will be approved automatically. If left disabled, Managers must review the comment and approve for other staff to see within the message thread.

  • Disable Notifications for Message Replies

If selected, Staff will not receive system notifications of a reply to a message.

  • Disable Direct SMS Messaging

If selected, Direct SMS messaging will be disabled for mass messages going out to multiple users. Users will need to go into the system to view the message.
